An update from Palm Beach Polo & Country Club Property Owners' Association, Inc. (POA):  

Tree Trimming

 The POA has commenced the annual hardwood and palm tree trimming. The arborist will be working in the community for several weeks as all common areas are reviewed and trimmed prior to the winter season. If you reside in Polo during the summer months, please drive slowly when approaching areas in the community where tree work is taking place.

Lift Station Improvements

 The Village of Wellington is completely revitalizing two lift stations (used for pumping wastewater) within the community. The lift station at the south end of Longwood Green Drive is currently under construction and work has recently commenced at the lift station at the corner of Long Meadow Drive and Golf Brook Drive. The contractors performing the work are aware of vehicle and golf cart traffic and have taken all necessary steps to ensure the job sites and surrounding areas are safe and passable. POA access control has also been assisting with traffic.

The Clubhouse at Polo

 A new restaurant, The Clubhouse at Polo, operated under the direction of Chef Matt Allen and his wife Sheila Motley formerly of “The Patio" will open August 31st, Labor Day weekend. The Clubhouse, located at 11630 Polo Club Road opposite Maidstone Drive, will be open for lunch and dinner seven days per week, with brunch on Sundays. The Clubhouse restaurant telephone is 561-660-3300 or visit the website at www.theclubhousepbpcc.com. The Clubhouse is open to the public and all residents of the community.
