Andrew Carduner was educated at Syracuse University and began his business career in advertising where he was associated with some of America’s most recognized brand names including : The Diners Club; Hertz Rent-A-Car; Dodge Automobiles; Castrol Motor Oils; Garrard Record Players; TDK; The Sands Hotel; The Wilkinson Sword Co. and ITT/Palm Coast. He joined Avnet Inc. as a Special Assistant to the Vice-Chairman, advising on acquisitions, and served as corporate liaison/advisor to the Liberty Records, British Industries, Channel Master, IRice and Guild/Goya guitar divisions.
After a tour of duty in the United States Air Force, he re-joined Avnet as Vice-President of marketing where he was responsible for the creation and introduction of some of the consumer electronic industry’s most successful and innovative products and brand names. He is the youngest person to have been elected to the board of the Institute of High Fidelity Manufacturers. From 1980 to the present he has been a private investor involved in many diverse companies including: “Fast Company” the first direct broadcast cable TV sports (auto racing) program; Kron Chocolatier Inc., a national group of luxury chocolate stores where he served as CEO, and has established a number of restaurant companies.
He has served on the boards of the Schwinn Bicycle Corporation, Channel Master Antenna Corporation, YAPA.com, TLX.com, The Integrated Sports Marketing Group, Doubles Clubs International, The United States Olympic Bobsled Committee, Kron Chocolatier, The Brook Club and The Culinary Institute of America. He was a managing partner and co-founder of Barnet-Bernbach-Carduner a New York venture capital fund and founded The Palm Beach Concours d’Elegance.
A current Wellington, Palm Beach Polo Club homeowner, he has been visiting the Polo Club since it’s’ inception and is currently the President of the Palm Beach Polo & Country Club POA.
